Bhupesh Dhama, MD, FACC, FSCAI, attended the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York, and received his medical degree in 1998. Furthermore, he conducted his internal medicine residency (1998-2001) and cardiovascular medicine fellowship (2001-2005) at North Shore University-Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Manhasset, NY. In addition, Dr. Dhama completed his fellowship training in interventional cardiology at the same teaching venue, i.e., Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine /Long Island Jewish Medical Center (2005-2006). He received board certification in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease medicine and interventional cardiology from the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Dhama is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI). Prior to medical school, Dr. Dhama completed the Sophie Davis Biomedical Education program at the City University of New York in New York City.
