Get to know Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Bhupesh Dhama, who serves patients in New York. 

Dr. Dhama is a board-certified interventional cardiologist practicing at Premier Cardiology Consultants with five offices throughout the state of New York, including New Hyde Park, Jamaica, Queens, and Forest Hills. He specializes in cardiac and peripheral catheterization, balloon angioplasty, stent placement, and laser atherectomy, and he is always working to advance his personal knowledge and training so that he can provide the most advanced treatments in his field. Dr. Dhama attended the Sophie Davis Biomedical Education program at the City University of New York in New York City. After graduation, he earned his medical degree from the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York. He completed his residency and a subsequent fellowship in cardiovascular disease at North Shore University-Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Queens. Following this, he completed another fellowship in interventional cardiology at the same educational venue. A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, the doctor is board-certified in both internal medicine and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
